WHAT IS THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ALMONTE MODELS?
The range of Almonte tech bindings covers all the requirements for a fulfilling and confident ski touring experience designed to get backcountry fans out there.
The ALMONTE 12 PT with a DIN adjustment range of 5-12 is the ideal choice for dynamic skiers, while the ALMONTE 10 PT with DIN 10 is designed for beginners, intermediate and lighter skiers for whom a DIN range of 4-10 is sufficient. All ski boots with PIN inserts are suitable for the ALMONTE.
The ALMONTE 10 PT Demo model for the rental sector is easily adaptable to different ski boot sizes because it is installed on demo rails. These bindings weigh slightly more at 420 g each (incl. brake & screws), but are still one of the lightest PIN demo bindings on the scales. The ALMONTE 10 PT Demo covers almost all sizes of touring ski boots with a setting range between 245 and 356 mm.
HOW DOES THE SWITCH BETWEEN HIKE & SKI MODE WORK?
Thanks to the easy and intuitive handling between hike and ski mode, you can fully enjoy your skiing experience and the beauty of nature - all you need to do is rotate the heel unit by 90°. In addition to that, the heel piece features an automatic brake lock with an isolated mechanism to prevent icing.

The Almonte bindings all ski boots with tech inserts. The boot needs to have tech inserts. The ALMONTE 10 PT Demo covers almost all sizes of touring ski boots with a setting range between 245 and 356 mm.
TO WHAT EXTENT IS ALMONTE A SUSTAINABLE PRODUCT?
For this product, we used recycled and sustainable materials and substitutes where possible, creating our most environmentally friendly product to date. More precisely, all plastic parts of the Almonte bindings are made from renewable raw materials.
