Full Diagonal Toe
Our Full Diagonal Toe delivers an intelligent 180° release function and therefore is able to release the boot both horizontally and vertically in the event of a fall.
AFS – Anti Friction Slider
The TYROLIA Anti Friction Slider (AFS) provides not only secure boot release but also rapid and exact boot recentering. For better safety and reliability.
TRP – Toe System
The TYROLIA Roller Pincer Toe System (TRP System), with its four rollers, allows 180° release and exact centering of the ski boot. The TRP system reduces the load on knees and ligaments and improves performance considerably.
Diagonal® Heel – D-RX heel
With a 150° release range, the Diagonal Heel releases directly into the direction of the fall and reduces pressure on knees and ligaments in forward twisting fall situations.
FHR – Full Heel Release (only with Protector bindings)
The TYROLIA Full Heel Release function delivers intelligent 180° release both horizontally and vertically, ensuring maximum safety in forward and backward twisting fall situations. The FHR function can reduce ACL strain by more than 50%*.
TYROLIA is an official GripWalk partner
Except for the Racing bindings, the entire HEAD/TYROLIA binding line for adults and children is GripWalk compatible. The bindings can be used with Alpine ski boots (ISO 5355) and GripWalk ski boots (ISO 23223).
BTR Kinematics
The BTR kinematics allows for constant release values in backward twisting falls (where other bindings increase by more than 50%). It compensates friction due to two different release characteristics based on vertical load.
